Wonders of Rio de Janeiro, Iguassu Falls & Buenos Aires

Upon arrival to Rio de Janeiro, find your driver at the designated meeting location and settle in for a shared transfer to your hotel. A vibrant city with an incredible beachfront, outstanding cuisine and culture, the rest of your day is at leisure; consider heading out to explore the beachfront on your own after a quick nap!

After an early breakfast, set out for a memorable day exploring some of the top highlights of Rio. This five-hour tour begins with pick-up in the lobby of your hotel, and then brings you to two of the city's most famous landmarks: Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain. The drive up to the statue, found on top of Corcovado Mountain and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, is short and scenic. Travelling through the Tijuca Forest before opening to incredible views of the city, the entire journey is enjoyable and pays off with spectacular vistas. At the summit, you will be welcomed with open arms by Christ the Redeemer, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Descending Corcovado, you'll will travel through the city and past the legendary Maracana Stadium, Sambadrome - where Rio de Janeiro Carnival troupes' parade yearly - and the imposing and modern Cathedral of San Sebastian. You'll also make a stop at the famous Selaron Steps; be sure to have your camera ready! For lunch, you will dine at a traditional Brazilian steakhouse, and afterwards, the days adventure concludes with a visit to Sugarloaf Mountain, which you will ascend via cable car. After reaching the summit, snap a few more iconic photographs, then settle in for the return transfer to your hotel.

Today you are free to relax at your hotel, to stroll the many scenic beaches, or explore the streets of this world-famous city on your own.
